    1935 FDC FIRST DAY COVER FOR THE MAIDEN VOYAGE OF THE S.S. NORMANDIE NEVER OPENED Dated May 29, 1935 with cachet and cancels saying “Inaaugural Voyage” With a poster stamp sealing the flap. Was considered to be the fastest and largest cruise ship at the time being 100 feet longer than the Titanic. It caught fire and capsized in 1939. I sold its mate a couple of months ago but that cover was opened and empty. This cover may still have a letter inside as it weighs more than just the cover. In fine condition.
