  • Certification: Uncertified
  • Type: Banknotes
  • Modification Description: NA
  • Circulated/Uncirculated: Uncirculated
  • Country: Ethiopia

  • Condition: I would grade this banknote as a nice about uncirculated or much better with all the details being very well preserved. The note retains all its original stiffness, crispiness, and sheen. The note has no folds and no creases. The note is clean with no major objectionable stains. It does have a spot on the front near the bottom left corner and some black stain, which appears to be a finger print at the bottom right corner. The note has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. We are grading the note as AU instead of UNC because of the two small stained spots mentioned earlier and the existence of a small bump at the bottom left corner as well as light roughness along the top edge near the right corner. We believe these issues are due to handling instead of being due to circulation. The note does not appear to have circulated with its corners being intact with no rounding, its cleanliness, and absence of folds or creases. See photos for additional condition information.
