We sell/list all of our dress trousers by their actual measurements, unless the pant looks unaltered or new. Tagged sizing is noted when available. Please check your measurements before ordering to ensure that you get a good fit. Altered items will get listed off their current measurements, not their original measurements. Please contact us if you need any assistance with fitting. Outlets are available to show actual extra fabric present in waist and length. Each seam will need an allowance of .25" on each side or .5" per seam. I try to measure to the closest .25-.5" rounding down if a measurement is in between. Please allow a certain amount of error of approximately a quarter of an inch.
Revitalization:
We make every effort to offer only the absolute highest quality products. All of our trousers go through our extensive inspection and revitalization process prior to being offered for sale. This process can include un-hemming of the trousers, clipping loose stitches, making minor repairs, cleaning and a proper pressing. All flaws, soiling, and damage will be listed and photoed. If any of these are missed, it is unintentional.
Descriptions:
I try my hardest to photograph all tags. Fabrics of items without fabric tags are determined based on an educated guess. Fabric weaves are based on feel. Worsted indicates lightweight, while flannel indicates a medium weight trouser. Fit is determined by cut of the seat and leg and in most cases, is a best guess based on measurements. Relaxed fit is a fuller cut through the seat and leg. Measurement around the knee is usually around 12 inches, while the cuff is usually greater than 9 inches. Regular fit usually has a knee measurement of around 11 inches, while the cuff is around 9 inches, with the seat being cut a little slimmer than a relaxed fit trouser. Slim fit will usually have a knee measurement less than 10 inches, with a cuff measurement less than 8.5 inches, while the cut of the seat is less full than the other two, creating a more tapered look.
