ROLLING STONES TO RELEASE STRIPPED ALBUM FILLED WITH ACOUSTIC, INTIMATE VERSIONS OF GROUP CLASSICS;
COMPACT DISK INCLUDES MULTIMEDIA FEATURES
The Rolling Stones will release Stripped, an album featuring acoustic versions of the group’s rock ’n’ roll classics.
In addition to its exciting musical content, the innovative CD includes bonus multimedia material, and is scheduled for release November 14, 1995 on Virgin Records.
Stripped shows the Stones peeling off 14 songs in a strikingly casual, intimate fashion.
Produced by Don Was (who produced the Stones’ Grammy-winning double platinum smash, Voodoo Lounge) and the Glimmer Twins, Stripped was recorded in various locations around the globe: live in clubs and in rehearsals during the Stones’ record-breaking Voodoo Lounge worldwide tour.
