This plate is over 100 years old and is a rare and unique piece for any collector. Rector's was a playground for the rich and powerful of New York at the turn of the century. One of the original fine dining restaurants of New York, this is a treasure. A frequent guest was the infamous Diamond Jim Brady who consumed enormous amounts of food and considered Rector's as the epitome of fine dining.
