This is THE TUGBOAT FLEET OF NEW YORK, along with the QUEEN MARY AND THE NORMANDIE featured in A COMPLETE 1936 ISSUE OF POPULAR MECHANICS MAGAZINE!!! This includes a great inside article titled "THE DARE-DEVIL FLEET". Nice 6–page article! TEN (10) PHOTOS plus several ILLUSTRATIONS! THIS FOCUSES ON THE TUGBOATS WORKING and shows them handling the NORMANDIE, and the QUEEN MARY… The magazine measures 9 ¾ inches X 6 5/8 inches. This is a wonderful time capsule. It is in nice shape. THE GREATEST FLAW HERE IS WEAR ON THE TOP OF THE SPINE, AND MORE SIGNIFICANT WEAR AT THE BASE OF THE SPINE THAT EFFECTS THE FIRST SEVERAL PAGES. This does not effect the oceanliner piece in any way. Otherwise this has only slight vintage edge and corner wear. Not mint but quite gently read!!! A great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you!
