"Normandie". 1935 Silver Medal with Tan Case. French Line CGT

Description

This is one of the finest Medals I have  seen. No dings, scratches, pits, rub marks, or defects. Please note the wear points:  Toes, Hands, Thigh, Breasts, Bow of ship, Bridge, Side of ship.  Included is the very rare tan/brown presentation case given only to Senior Engineering Executives.  There is a small  bump on the upper right of the case top.  There is a scan that shows the bottom of the case and the inside of the case top with the medal in it. This medal is from the first striking as evidenced by the clogged "E" in Normandi "E".  Apprx. measurements:   Weighs 5.6 oz,  156 Gm. ;  D.  2 5/8",  68 cm
